On the Human Development Index(HDI), India is ranked 128 out of 179 countries. The HDI ranks countries by their economic development. It may also indicate whether a country is developed, developing, or underdeveloped.
The HDI calculator takes in the factors in order to measure the country’s growth: literacy, educational attainment, life expectancy and GDP per capita.
