A major error I realized I made after taking the exam is that I did not define any key terms. I should always keep in mind to define all economic terminology. My explanations were fine but I needed to provide real life examples to further substantiate my evaluations.

Interesting picture choice, Hiroki. The reason why we define economic terms is to show the examiner that we understand them and aren’t just randomly tossing them in.
The goal in IB writing is to show, not tell. Showing means that you provide evidence for. Telling means tossing out a fact. While that fact may be correct, it’s not enough to demonstrate your understanding. You can show mastery of economic concepts when you tie them directly in to your argument. You can also demonstrate understanding of economic theories by showing how they apply (or don’t apply) to real life, by citing empirical examples.
Good luck with the rest of econ!
